My name is Behrang QasemiZadeh, and I have been a Senior Data Scientist at Henkel's Center of Excellence for Data Analytics since 2020.


In my current role, I specialize in bridging the gap between advanced research and industrial application. For instance, collaborating closely with chemists, I design and deploy Bayesian Optimization models that accelerate material engineering, streamline product formulation, and drive iterative product design.

As an end-to-end data scientist, I take full ownership of the development lifecycle, transforming raw business ideas into robust software solutions. My expertise spans mathematical backend modeling, core data engineering, and full-stack implementation, allowing me to deliver everything from initial proofs of concept and minimum viable products (MVPs) to complete, user-friendly web applications that drive cost-effective business value.

Prior to joining Henkel, I spent several years in academia, focusing primarily on natural language processing and computational linguistics.
