    <Paragraph position="0"> This paper presents both an overview and some of the details regarding audience, assignments, technology, and projects in an interdisciplinary course on Natural Language Processing that has evolved over time and been successful along multiple dimensions - both from the students' and the faculty's perspective in terms of accomplishments and enjoyment. This success has required us to meet the challenges of enabling students from a range of disciplines and diverse experience to each gain a real understanding of what is entailed in Natural Language Processing.</Paragraph>
