    <Paragraph position="0"> We have shown how the linear categorial deduction method of (Hepple, 1996) can be modified to allow incremental derivation, and specified an incremental normal form for proofs of the system. These results provide for an efficient incremental linear deduction method that can be used with various labelling disciplines as a basis for parsing a range of type-logical formalisms.</Paragraph>
