In an uncontested acoustic environment, preliminary results from real data indicate that highly accurate performance is achievable. In addition, the SRC method for nonlinear optimization has provided a mechanism for making the algorithm practical in real time. In follow-on work, more data have to be tested, multiple talker and various noise environments need to be explored, and extensions to tracking need to be developed. However, the current level of performance tends to predict that these aspects will go smoothly.</Paragraph> </Section> class="xml-element"></Paper>
