The main concern has been to describe what aspects of the discourse give evidence of * events and actions and how these events and actions are represented in order to refer to them appropriately. This representation has 'the advantage that it allows us to create appropriate descriptions of actions and events which are available for future reference in the discourse model. We have shown how to generalize event * descriptions, so that the general event descriptions can in turn be associated with additional event entities required by the use of particular anaphoric expressions. We have also related the event representation described here to anaphoric pronouns, given that the pronouns can refer to more than one event.</Paragraph> </Section> class="xml-element"></Paper>
