5 Summary

    <Paragraph position="0"> Our recent work has been the construction of a goal-directed stylistic grammar for English internal stylistics.</Paragraph>
    <Paragraph position="1"> Our current focus is an extension of the grammar for French internal stylistics. As well, we arc using a single vocabulary of constituent stylistic elements as the guiding principle in the development of a semantic stylistic grammar, the second branch of our stratificational model.</Paragraph>
    <Paragraph position="2"> Our use of stylistic gramraars has allowcd us to propose a strategy for the French and English stylistic parser which will eventually form part of an editor to accomplish the actuM translation of style.</Paragraph>
