<Paragraph position="0"> In this paper, we present an order identi cation based partially supervised classi cation algorithm and investigate its application to partially supervised word sense disambiguation problem. Experimental results on SENSEVAL-3 data indicate that our ELP based model order identi cation algorithm achieves better performance than other state of the art classi cation algorithms, e.g., SVM, a one-class partially supervised algorithm (LPU), and a semi-supervised k-means clustering based model order identi cation algorithm.</Paragraph>
