<?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?> <Paper uid="W05-1004"> <Title>Automatically Learning Qualia Structures from the Web</Title> <Section position="7" start_page="34" end_page="34" type="concl"> <SectionTitle> 6 Conclusion </SectionTitle> <Paragraph position="0"> We have presented an approach to automatically learning Qualia Structures from the Web. Such an approach is especially interesting either for lexicographers aiming at constructing lexicons, but even more for natural language processing systems relying on deep lexical knowledge as represented by qualia structures. We have in particular shown that the qualia structures learned by our system are reasonable. In general, it is valid to claim that our system is the first one automatically producing complete qualia structures for a given nominal.</Paragraph> <Paragraph position="1"> Our system can be tested online at http://km.aifb.unikarlsruhe.de/pankow/qualia/. Further work will aim at improving the system but also at using the automatically learned structures within NLP applications.</Paragraph> </Section> class="xml-element"></Paper>
