</SectionTitle>
    <Paragraph position="0"> We developed a Japanese HPSG grammar by means of the corpus-oriented method, and the grammar achieved the high coverage, which we consider to be nearly sufficient for real-world applications. However, the accuracy of the parser in terms of dependency analysis was significantly lower than that of the existing parser. We expect that the accuracy can be improved through further elaboration of the grammar design and disambiguation method.</Paragraph>
