    <Paragraph position="0"> This paper describes a novel NLP-based and computer-aided procedure for the construction of multiple-choice tests from instructional documents in electronic form.</Paragraph>
    <Paragraph position="1"> The results from the evaluation conducted suggest that the new procedure is very effective in terms of time and labour, and that the test items produced with the help of the program are not of inferior quality to those produced manually.</Paragraph>
