The extensive work on the description of English was (tone by Atro Voutilainen, Juha tleikkil~ and Arto Anttila \[1992\]. Timo J~rvinen \[1994\] has developed the syntactic constraint system further. ENGCG uses Kimmo Koskenniemi's \[1983\] two-level morphological analyser and Past Tapanainen's implementation of Constraint Grammar parser.</Paragraph>
